Sean

Sean

Sean’s dream destination is to be aboard a fishing vessel on the deep blue sea … but first he wants to learn how to fish. Once the latter wish comes true, he’ll focus on feeling the sea breeze in his hair and the saltwater on his face because Sean wants to hook a whale. Or, as he says, “catch a huge fish.” Sean’s other dreams and wishes include having a cat and being adopted. An adoptive family for Sean certainly would enjoy some of his favorite activities including swimming, collecting rocks, playing basketball, enjoying the outdoors, tossing around a football and anything else involving sports. Sean enjoys building things with Legos and watching movies. He loves listening to music and is very engaged with and does well in his music class at school. When he gets older, Sean wants to be a firefighter. This active young man says pizza and cheeseburgers are his favorite foods while cats are his favorite animal. “But I love all animals,” Sean adds. When he’s in the mood, Sean will plop into a comfy sitting spot and listen to his favorite tune. Once he finds his forever family, Sean hopes to go camping and traveling with them as well as go out to dinner and to the movies.

“Sean is a very outgoing person and loves to goof around and laugh with others,” says one of his close adults. “He is wise and knowledgeable. He is very inquisitive and loves to learn new things. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES animals.”

Sean needs a forever family who can provide consistency, structure and routine. His new parent or parents should be experienced and trauma informed. Sean would do best as the youngest child in his new family, but that’s not a must. His new parent or parents need to be fierce advocates for the services that will benefit Sean. Finally, Sean “really, really” wants pets because he loves animals.
