Christopher

CHRISTOPHER

Christopher is a happy, energetic and affectionate young boy. He loves to play basketball and soccer and enjoys riding his bike. He likes to watch all different types of cartoons. Christopher is a very humorous boy and likes to laugh and joke around. He enjoys playing video games and anything to do with Ninja Turtles.

Christopher has overcome a difficult past and has developmental delays. He is working on developing proper coping skills to express his emotions and is learning how to be more respectful of others’ personal space and boundaries. He requires a lot of one-on-one attention. Christopher would benefit from guidance on building and maintaining positive peer and adult relationships. He is also learning how to have appropriate interactions with animals. Christopher benefits from assistance at school to ensure he reaches his goals and fullest potential.

Christopher would do best with two experienced parents, but a single parent with a strong support network would be considered. His parents would benefit from knowledge of the impact of trauma on a child’s behavior and development. Christopher benefits from consistent supervision and guidance at home and in the community. The adoptive family should be strong advocates for the support services that would be beneficial to Christopher’s needs. Christopher would do best in a family where he would be the youngest child in the home.
