AliciaMay

AlishaMay

Give Allie, as AliciaMay prefers, a little twang in her music and a little tang in her food, then watch the smile on her face beam ear-to-ear. She loves listening to music, and the twang comes in her favorite genre. “I love country music,” says Allie, who says she also enjoys Christmas tunes. Listening to music is Allie’s favorite after-school and weekend activity. But when the hunger pangs hit, that’s when the tang comes into play. Allie’s favorite foods include tacos and pizza, topped off with a serving of ice cream. Like many of us, Allie enjoys a little ooh and aah in her life, too. She adores babies. Her favorite critters are tigers, German shepherds and horses, and if she could visit anywhere, she’d travel to Florida to escape Michigan’s chills and experience the thrills of Christmas in the Sunshine State. Allie loves chilling by watching TV, reading a book or writing down her thoughts and memories. She also enjoys playing Uno. When she gets older, Allie wants to become a police officer, and if she had three wishes, she’d want to own a car, attend concerts and celebrate Christmas anytime with family. In fact, Allie wants to go to concerts, play games and go to movies with her future forever family. Allie adds, “I’d also like for my family to be patient with me and give me time to warm up. It would be nice if my future family will use positive reinforcement and not to give up on me.”

According to one of her close adults, “Allie can be described as a strong-willed girl who knows what she wants. Allie is a very sweet girl; she is helpful, kind and caring. She is easy to talk to and responds well with positive reinforcement.”

Allie would do best with a single female parent who’s experienced and trauma informed. Her new forever family needs to make sure Allie gets any support she needs to flourish. Allie would do best as the only child in the home. Finally, Allie prefers a family who has pets.
