Miriah

Miriah

Miriah provides instant sunshine even on the darkest days. She’s a sweet, loving and caring girl who interacts well with others. “She is full of joy and is always smiling,” says Miriah’s worker. “She loves to laugh and make others laugh.” Miriah describes herself as nice and funny. She loves playing games by herself and with others, and one of her biggest enjoyments comes from playing house and playing with Barbies. Miriah loves playing board games such as Don’t Break the Ice and tablet games such as Subway Surfer. “She enjoys being outside, playing with friends and watching the clouds pass by,” says Miriah’s worker. Miriah also enjoys participating in her church choir and attending Sunday school. To satisfy her hunger pangs, ribs, chicken, spaghetti and mac ’n cheese, are her favorite foods. Miriah’s favorite color is pink and her favorite animals are dogs. Math is her favorite subject in school.

If she had three wishes, Miriah would want a car, a mansion and lots of money. When she gets older, Miriah wants to become a nurse or doctor “and perform brain surgery,” she says. With her future forever family, Miriah looks forward to swimming and playing together.

Miriah would do best with a mom and dad who can give her the one-on-one attention she needs to thrive. Her new parents would benefit from knowledge of the impact of trauma on a child. In addition, Miriah should be the only child in her new forever family. Finally, her new family must be strong advocates for the services that will help Miriah excel at home and in school.
