Cameron

Cameron

Cameron has his sights set on becoming an entrepreneur, and with his special skills, he’ll likely be successful. “He has good qualities of a leader,” says a close adult, “and when he puts his mind to it, he is able to do well at many things.” When he gets older, Cameron wants to own a landscaping company. He enjoys working with his hands and wants to get into construction, too. For now, you’ll likely find him brushing up on world history, which is his favorite subject in school. “Cameron thinks this class is easy, and he likes to have knowledge of the world,” says one of his close adults. He likes to have fun, too, and enjoys sports such as wrestling and football. In addition to football, Cameron loves playing basketball. “Cameron is also willing to try new sports that he has not participated in before,” says an adult close to him. “Cameron is interested in doing boxing and being a pitcher for baseball.” Even though sports are important to Cameron, he values friendships just as much. “He makes friends easily and enjoys spending time with them.” On his list of favorite things, Cameron includes Chinese for food, red for color, ostrich for animal and Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas for holidays. One of the things Cameron looks forward to doing with a future forever family is having fun. He hopes they’ll go on vacations and road trips as well as have family dinners together.

According to one of his close adults, “Cameron is described as funny, very social and personable. Although Cameron has dealt with many hardships and disappointments in his life, he tries hard to keep a positive attitude and push forward. Cameron is typically respectful and responsible, and he is willing to help out around the house.”

Cameron needs a patient and understanding parent or parents who are experienced and trauma informed. He wants a positive male figure in his new family. He would do best as the only or youngest child in his new forever family. Cameron’s new parent or parents must make sure he receives any services that would help him thrive. He needs a family who’s active, and he prefers one who has pets, especially dogs. Finally, his family must be willing to let Cameron maintain his sibling relationships.
