When you’re with Tyler, life feels like one big, exciting science experiment—with a splash of imagination, a hint of adventure, and plenty of fun along the way. Whether he’s pretending with friends after school, diving into a new video game, or dreaming up ways to make volcanoes erupt like his hero Bill Nye, the Science Guy, Tyler brings energy, curiosity, and creativity into everything he does. There’s always a spark in his eyes when he’s exploring a new idea or getting lost in a make-believe world. His love for science, especially anything explosive or hands-on, is matched only by his love for a good game and a plate of fun-shaped mac and cheese. Weekends are Tyler’s time to unwind, usually with a favorite cartoon or a movie like How to Train Your Dragon. Holidays like Christmas are a highlight, and Tyler looks forward to the joy of opening gifts and being around others. He also has a playful side that shines in his love for “imaginary: games with friends, where creativity and laughter go hand in hand. Animals have a special place in Tyler’s heart, and cheetahs are his absolute favorite—fast, fierce, and full of personality, much like Tyler himself. If he could go anywhere in the world, he’d pick Snake Island just to see what kinds of snakes live there, proof of his fearless curiosity and desire to discover the unknown. And while he’s still figuring out his future, one thing’s for sure: Tyler dreams big. From owning all the gold in the world to buying Lamborghinis, monster trucks, and sports cars, he’s a kid with vision, imagination, and a spark that can’t be dimmed.
“Tyler is a jokester,” says one of the people who cares about him. “He loves to laugh and have fun. Tyler can be very silly and has lots of different interests. Tyler has an infectious smile and laugh. He thrives on one-on-one attention. Tyler enjoys engaging in imaginative play and enjoys the outdoors. He can be very friendly and loving.”
Tyler would do best with two experienced parents, so he gets the close supervision and one-on-one attention he requires. He also should be the only child in his new forever family. One of the people who knows him suggests that a family should be active and able to provide the consistency that helps Tyler excel. His new family must be strong advocates for the services that will benefit Tyler now and into adulthood.
