Madison

Madison

If Madison had her own avenue, she’d likely change the name to Easy Street. And she’d always walk on the sunny side of it. “Madison has a happy-go-lucky personality,” explains her worker. “She’s bright, bubbly and energetic.” Madison puts her energy to use by playing outside and doing arts and crafts. She also enjoys reading, playing board games and playing with dolls. In the past, Madison liked participating in dance class and in Girl Scouts, and she hopes to do those things again. One of Madison’s favorite things to do is go to church. “Her Catholic faith is important to her,” says Madison’s worker. Her caregivers describe Madison as happy, pleasant and delightful. “Madison says that she’s a nice person who loves to do lots of things,” says her worker.

Madison is respectful and helpful but can struggle with her feelings. She does well in school and is described as an excellent student. “School is an area of strength for her,” says Madison’s worker.

Madison would do best with a single-female parent, two female parents or a mom and dad. Her new parent or parents would benefit from knowledge of the impact of trauma on a child. Madison’s new parent or parents also must be willing to advocate for the services that will help Madison function at her best. Her new forever family must be patient as Madison adapts to her new home.
