Aubriella

Aubriella

If she could meet anyone, Aubriella would want to shake the paw of Stitch, the extraterrestrial koala-like character of Lilo and Stitch fame. She hopes to visit Disney World in Florida so she can see Stitch in-person. Stitch ranks among Aubriella’s three favorite things. The other two are swimming and food with pretzels and cheese being her food of choice. Some of Aubriella’s other favorite things are red for color, hamsters for animals and band and language arts for subjects in school. After school, Aubriella meets up with friends to play tag and wind down from a busy day of learning. On the weekends you’ll find Aubriella at the park maybe playing volleyball which is her go-to sport. This interesting girl has a long list of interests such as drawing, making crafts, listening to music, and doing hair and makeup. She also enjoys watching movies and says the Harry Potter films are among her favorites. Her top choices for holidays are her birthday, Easter and Christmas, and the things she enjoys most about them are getting candy, decorating and wrapping gifts. When she gets to be an adult, Aubriella wants to become orthodontist, and she has at least one other dream. “I want to be in a movie,” she says. When she’s asked what she’s most proud of, Aubriella says “being Student of the Month several times.” She’d certainly make a family proud, especially one who enjoys an active, imaginative and creative girl around the house.

“Aubriella is always thinking of others,” says one of her close adults. “She especially enjoys making things for those she cares about and will draw pictures or make jewelry. Aubriella is a loving child who has a great sense of humor. She is friendly and enjoys meeting new people and hanging out with her friends.”

At this time, Aubriella is struggling with the idea of becoming a member of another family and will need an adoptive family who is understanding and patient with her transition. Aubriella would do well in a home in which she has structure and routine. Her new parent or parents should be patient, understanding, experienced and trauma informed. Her new family must make sure Aubriella receives the support services she needs to function at her best.
