Jayce is the kind of kid who brings both energy and thoughtfulness into a room—quick to crack a joke, ask a curious question, or dive into something he’s passionate about. He’s a big fan of animals, especially cats, and often dreams about what it would be like to talk to them or have powers from his favorite anime. Jayce’s imagination and creativity show up in the things he loves, video games, science class, and weekends filled with bike rides, swimming, card games, and movies. He likes to be active and outside, but he also enjoys time with friends, especially when they’re playing games or just hanging out. Jayce takes pride in who he is and all he’s overcome.

He helps around the house by cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, and while he’s often mellow at home, he can struggle at times when things don’t go as expected or when he’s not feeling heard. At school, he has both strong and challenging days. He sometimes has a hard time staying on task or handling frustration. Holidays like Halloween and Christmas are important to Jayce. He loves dressing up, giving and receiving gifts, and celebrating with others. If he could go anywhere in the world, he’d head to the Bahamas or the Bermuda Triangle—he’s drawn to adventure and fun. While he isn’t certain what he wants to be when he grows up, he knows he wants to stay connected to the things he enjoys: animals, games, and laughter.

Jayce would do best in a home with a single mom, dad, or mom and dad. He would thrive as the only or youngest child in the home. Jayce loves animals and would love to be in a home with pets. Jayce would do best in a family that’s experienced and can offer him the time, structure, and support he needs to thrive. What matters most is a calm, committed environment where Jayce feels seen, accepted, and safe. In return, Jayce hopes to share video game battles, outdoor adventures, board games, and family time, hopefully with a cat curled up nearby.
