Arabella

Arabella

If Arabella could wish for anything, she’d want “unlimited Squishmallows.” She already owns one that she’s very proud of and would love to have a collection of the cuddly stuffed toys. Adds one of her close adults, “If she could make other wishes, one would be to have a pet kitten, and the second would be to draw with a pencil and whatever she drew would become real.” Her magical dreams and interests extend to Japan where Arabella wants to visit because she believes “it’s an interesting place.” In addition to Squishmallows, Arabella likes real creatures such as frogs, giraffes and bunnies, but she also likes fairies. Her favorite foods are chips, spaghetti, chicken and pizza, and her favorite colors are black, blood red and baby blue. Arabella’s favorite weekend and after-school activities are coloring, playing board games and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite things about school are art club and lunch time. “Arabella typically does well at school and gets good grades,” says one of her close adults. One of the things Arabella wants to do with her new family is get a pet kitten, and if not, perhaps a catlike Squishmallow would do.

“I truly believe Arabella can achieve amazing things in life,” says one of her close adults. “She can be such a kind, helpful person. Arabella enjoys getting a lot of attention and likes being involved with family members. Arabella is mostly an out-going girl.”

Arabella would do best with a parent or parents who can give her the guidance, supervision and attention that will help her thrive. Her parent or parents should be experienced and trauma informed and willing to make sure Arabella receives any support services she requires. Arabella can be placed in a family with or without other children. Her new parent or parents must be open and accepting of Arabella, and as she says, “meet me where I’m at.”
