Andrew

Andrew

Andrew is an outgoing and funny teen who connects easily with others. He speaks openly and shows a willingness to share his interests. His favorite things include tacos, the color red, and dogs. He enjoys being active, whether he’s riding dirt bikes, playing football, or shooting hoops after school. Weekends often mean gathering with friends outside, where he can play sports, talk, and laugh. His friends are a big source of humor and joy for him.

Andrew also takes responsibility for tasks around the house. He cleans up after himself and makes his bed each morning, showing he can contribute to his home environment. He looks forward to holidays, especially Christmas and his birthday. He enjoys the decorations, the tree, and the chance to celebrate with gifts and time together.

Andrew has a strong interest in the world beyond his community. He hopes to visit Japan one day and is curious about traveling because he has not been out of the country before. He also talks about wanting to be an actor when he grows up. He likes going to the movies, riding bikes, swimming, and spending time doing activities with family.

Andrew cares deeply about the people in his life, especially his younger sisters. This loyalty and protectiveness appear in the way he talks about them and in the goals he has for his future. He hopes to join a forever family with a mom and dad, though he is open to different family structures. He would like pets in the home, especially dogs, and is comfortable with homes that may or may not have other children.

A family who is trauma-informed, patient, and experienced with teens will be important for Andrew. He will benefit from adults who can stay engaged with his educational needs, maintain consistent structure, and build trust over time. Andrew’s strengths, including his humor, his energy, his loyalty to his family, and his love of being active, provide a foundation that a supportive family can build on.
