SALLY

Sally is a loving, caring and helpful little girl. She enjoys helping her foster mother with household chores. Sally is very active and enjoys coloring, drawing, playing outside and playing with her dolls. She can be very bubbly and loves displaying her outgoing personality. Sally loves going to school and will even play school when not there. According to Sally, her favorite foods are pizza and macaroni & cheese and her favorite animal is a unicorn. Sally also noted that when she grows up she would like to become a princess.

Sally is learning how to learn from her mistakes and to fully understand the consequences of her actions. She is working on developing a consistent eating routine. Sally has overcome a difficult past and requires additional guidance on how to effectively manage her emotions. She also benefits from assistance on being more respectful of the personal space and boundaries of others. At school, Sally can have difficulty staying engaged on one task and does best with additional help in the school environment.

Sally would benefit from a loving and dedicated family who can provide her with a significant amount of social support. She would do best as the youngest or only child in the home as she requires a lot of individualized attention. The ideal family will be able to continue and seek out any additional support services that would be beneficial to her well-being. The family will need to be encouraging and offer Sally guidance on being more aware and respectful of the personal space and boundaries of children. Sally would benefit from a family that can provide her with structure and consistency while she continues to develop positive coping skills. The family will need to be active advocates for Sally in the home, at school and in the community to ensure she receives all the necessary tools to reach her fullest potential. Sally has a close bond with her younger brother Ross, and a potential family will need to be supportive of this relationship and participate in visits.
