David

David

David enjoys staying active and spending time with the people around him. Sports are one of his favorite ways to channel his energy, and he especially likes activities such as soccer and basketball. Time outdoors, jumping on a trampoline, playing video games, or watching videos are also part of how he relaxes after a busy day. In school, David excels in math and takes pride in doing well in the subject.

People who know David describe him as playful and kind. He has a sense of humor and enjoys sharing jokes and funny moments with others. David values connection and responds well when he feels supported and included. He often prefers spending time with adults and benefits from positive attention and encouragement.

David is continuing to make strides with how he expresses himself when frustrated or overwhelmed. He would do best with a parent or parents who can provide patient guidance, consistent support, and understanding that frustrations can get the best of all of us at times.

David enjoys simple traditions that bring people together. Holidays such as Christmas, Halloween, and Easter are meaningful to him, especially when they involve spending time with family and exchanging gifts. He cares about animals and would enjoy living in a home with pets, particularly dogs or cats. Looking ahead, David hopes to travel and has talked about visiting places like Japan or Disneyland one day. His future family must prioritize maintaining connections with important people in his life, including appropriate birth relatives.

David would do best with an experienced parent or parents who can provide patience, structure, and steady support. A family who understands the impact of trauma and is prepared to advocate for the services that help him succeed will be important for him. With consistent guidance and a caring home environment, David has the opportunity to continue building his skills and confidence while growing into a young person who feels valued and supported.
