Tristen
Tristen is affectionate, outgoing, adventurous, inquisitive, and takes great pride in his appearance. He loves to play basketball. Tristen also enjoys drawing, sketching, board games, card games, video games, and being outdoors. Tristen does well with one-on-one attention; and he thrives on verbal praise from adults. Tristen wants a family that will support his continued involvement in a variety of activities, as he does well when he is kept busy.
Because of the trauma he’s faced, Tristen will need parents who are supportive of his needs and who plan to continue the services in and out of school that will help him thrive. Tristen will need your help developing healthy personal boundaries, positive and healthy relationships, a sense of belonging, as well as learning how to take responsibility for the choices he makes.
Those working with Tristen believe that the best family for him is one who is structured, nurturing, and consistent and has a strong support system. Tristen needs a family that has time to devote to him and advocate for him in all areas. Tristen would do best in a family with older children. He would like to maintain a relationship with his siblings.
