Jacob

Jacob

Jacob is an outdoorsman who loves to play sports! Fishing, camping, swimming, canoeing, boating, climbing trees — he does it all! He adores animals, especially farm animals, and can’t wait to see them outdoors or on a visit to the local zoo. When it comes to sports, basketball and football are his favorites and he’s excited to join the school’s team! Jacob enjoys board games and card games and he’d be happy to teach you the ones he likes best. He does well in school — his best subjects are math, science, and reading. When it comes to food, he’s not picky — he’ll devour some pizza or carrots, but he hopes not to see broccoli on his plate!

Jacob would do well in either a one-parent or two-parent home. He would be happy to have some brothers or sisters, but they would need to be older than him to ensure he gets plenty of attention. He hopes for a family that likes to do activities outside together or parents who have family game nights. He needs parents who can model appropriate behaviors and conflict resolution. Prospective families should be willing to handle any future therapeutic needs he may have. Jacob will thrive with consistency, reliability, and stability. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children.
