Omarayana & Mikel

Omarayana & Mikel;

She might be young, but Omarayana is quite sophisticated for her age. Take, for instance, her preference in conversation. She doesn’t settle for mere chit-chat. “She tends to gravitate toward older peers as she enjoys having more mature conversations,” says a close adult acquaintance of Omarayana. Then there’s her career choice. Instead of wanting to be a veterinarian or police officer like a lot of youth her age, Omarayana wants to become an interior designer. She’s still a kid to the core, however. Omarayana loves playing volleyball and GaGa ball, the variation of Dodgeball. She loves making art and doing other creative activities, which will serve her well in her interior design pursuits. Omarayana likes the color purple. Most of all, she loves spending time with her siblings.

“Omarayana appears to have an affable disposition and can be very friendly and pleasant to talk to,” says an adult close to her. “She has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh. Omarayana loves to be self-reliant and loves learning to care for herself.”

A forever family for Omaryana must be willing to adopt her sibling Mikel. The children would do best with two experienced and trauma informed parents. The children would benefit from having at least one mom in the home. Their new parents must advocate for the services that will help Omarayana and Mikel excel. Their new forever family needs to be patient and understanding as the children transition into their new home. Finally, Omarayana and Mikel would do best as the only children in their new home.
