Jeremiah & Genesis

Jeremiah & Genesis

Jeramiah and Genesis have a dynamic relationship. Although they are placed in two different foster homes, they maintain strong loyalty to each other and hope to be adopted together. They enjoy frequent sibling visits and appreciate their close relationship. Jeramiah sees himself as a protector of his little sister, while Genesis lets him know she can take care of herself. Even though they are not in the same foster home, both have recently demonstrated success in running track. They are happy to have that shared interest so they can compare their experiences. Jeramiah just started his freshman year in high school. He ended his eighth grade year on a high note by earning a place on the Honor Roll for the first time in his life.

Genesis reports she loves school. She has made so much progress in school managing her behaviors and being able to focus on learning. She just started her sixth grade year. Genesis hopes to begin band this year; she wants to play a flute. She is also in Art Club and choir. Being “family” is very important to these two children; however, they are open to becoming members of an adoptive family who welcomes them both into their home. They need a permanent home that will allow them to thrive in a loving and nurturing environment.
