Daniel would be a popular military commander because he makes others feel at ease. He’d be a good store greeter because he makes others feel welcome. When he’s asked the most important things he wants others to know about him, Daniel says, “I’m nice, I’m respectful and I’m mostly calm. I like to greet new people.” One of his workers says, “Daniel has a hilarious outlook on life and likes to make people laugh.” Instead of serving in the military or working in retail however, Daniel wants to become a police officer. His dreams include earning a million dollars and owning a dirt bike and his own house. Daniel leads an active lifestyle and says playing basketball and football are two of his favorite activities. He also likes swimming, riding bikes and going to the park. Given a choice, Daniel would fuel his active way of life with his favorite food, “macaroni and cheese with meat in it.” His favorite color is blue and his favorite animal is the snow leopard. One of his workers calls Daniel “an engaging and curious boy.” Another calls him a smart and fun-loving teen who’s “eager to do things and engage in new experiences.” One of Daniel’s dream adventures involves a trip to Disney World. “I would like to see the characters in costume,” he says. With his future forever family, Daniel dreams of taking trips and going to restaurants together.
Daniel thrives with one-on-one attention and would benefit from guidance in establishing and maintaining proper peer relationships and staying on task with his schoolwork. Still, he generally does well in school, and he takes pride in an academic award he received.
Daniel would do best with two experienced parents who will advocate for the services he’ll need to thrive! Daniel also would do best as the youngest or only child in his new forever family. His new family must be willing to let Daniel maintain his relationship with his brother.
